Into the Radius 2, CM Immersive’s survival shooter, is now LIVE on PlayStation VR2. Sony’s PlayStation Store dates the release to October 8, 2026, and requires BOTH the PS VR2 headset and the PS VR2 Sense controllers. The headline number is the US price: the store listing shows $9.99, a FRACTION of what the same game costs on PC.
On Steam, the game was $27.99 in the US as of October 2, cut 30% from a $39.99 list price, according to MIXED, which also noted that CM Immersive said the discount would run until October 8. Against that $39.99 base, the US PlayStation listing is roughly 75% LOWER.
Regional prices do not line up
The PlayStation Store does NOT show one consistent price worldwide. The US listing reads $9.99, the Australian listing reads A$14.95, and the Hong Kong listing reads HK$78. Price tracker PSPrices records New Zealand at NZ$63.95 from October 8, which is FAR above the other three markets.
Neither Sony nor CM Immersive has explained the spread in anything we could find. The listings do not say whether $9.99 is a LAUNCH discount or the standard price, so buyers should treat the low figures as subject to CHANGE.
What the PS VR2 version adds
Sony’s listing names eye-tracked FOVEATED rendering, custom haptics for the controllers and the headset, 3D Audio, PlayStation Activities, and Trophies. UploadVR reports the port runs at a native 90fps and uses the Sense controllers’ adaptive triggers, but it will NOT support co-op at launch; co-op is planned as a FREE update in Q4 2026.
The console release closes a LONG rollout. Per MIXED, the sequel entered Steam Early Access in July 2024, reached its full PC release in April 2026, and only now arrives on PS5. It was already available on Quest and PC VR.
Why it matters
PS VR2 owners have had a THIN supply of large, systems-heavy shooters. A US price this low makes Into the Radius 2 one of the CHEAPEST big releases on the platform this fall, but the missing co-op and the unexplained regional gap are the two details worth checking before buying.
