Remembrance is live on Meta Quest. Lithuanian studio NIEKO shipped the narrative VR puzzle adventure on the Meta Store on September 1, 2026 for $4.99 USD / €3.99 EUR, per the studio’s Games Press release and a same-day COGconnected report.
You play as Dr. Bell, a psychologist walking the fractured subconscious of Professor Isaac Nemeth — a scientist whose work may matter to more than one dying mind. NIEKO’s pitch is physical exploration rather than cinematic flashback: rooms, objects, and small details are the story, and environmental puzzles unlock what Nemeth buried. The studio calls it a complete first chapter of roughly one to one-and-a-half hours, with a mystery that points past a single patient’s skull.
Short, Quest-first, chapter-shaped
Platforming is a hard gate. Remembrance launched exclusively on Meta Quest via the Meta Store; Quest Pro, Quest 3, and Quest 3S show up on third-party store mirrors. A separate Steam listing for the broader Remembrance / All That Remains project still reads “Coming soon,” so treat the Quest SKU as the shippable product today and Steam as wishlist, not day-one PC VR. NIEKO’s own catalog already includes Crystal Raiders VR and Kiipluu — this is not a first VR experiment dressed as psychological sci-fi.
Where it sits on the September board
Early September on Quest already had Transformers: Beyond Reality Redux and Knights of Fiona on the 3rd, with Detective VR expanding to PS VR2 and Steam on the 9th and The Lightkeepers on the 10th. Remembrance is the quiet counterweight: a $4.99 single-player chapter with no co-op bridge, no sports sweat, and no extraction loop. For Quest owners who want a one-sitting narrative puzzle instead of another mid-month multiplayer slot, that price and runtime are the point.
