Beat Saber Hip Hop Mixtape 2 is live on Meta Quest and PC VR. Meta’s August 27 newsroom post and UploadVR’s same-week report put eight licensed tracks in the store, each with its own beatmap and custom lightshow.
The pack is the follow-up to 2024’s Hip Hop Mixtape. That earlier set leaned on classic and golden-era cuts. Mixtape 2 shifts toward contemporary chart material while keeping the same uncensored-lyric rules Meta used the first time.
The eight tracks
Per Meta and UploadVR, the collection includes:

Meta says Beat Games built a distinct start-to-finish lightshow for each map. Tracks ship in their original explicit form. Accounts under 13 do not see the pack; players 13 and older can use Beat Saber’s Explicit Lyrics toggle to show or hide uncensored lyrics.
Pricing and platforms
UploadVR lists the full collection at $10.99 on Quest and Steam, or $1.99 per song. Meta also sells a $27.99 bundle that pairs the base game with Mixtape 2. RuntimeWire, citing Meta’s newsroom, notes Meta cut Beat Saber’s base price to $19.99 on August 11 — sixteen days before the pack landed — and puts the wider licensed catalog past 300 tracks with more than 60 in the base game.
UploadVR also flags that Beat Saber is Steam Frame certified, so the same slicer is lined up for Valve’s standalone SteamOS headset whenever Frame actually ships.
Why it matters
Beat Saber remains Meta’s clearest “show a friend” Quest title. Another hip-hop pack is not a platform story, but it is how Beat Games keeps a decade-old mechanic earning: lower the front door, then sell recognizable music maps into an installed audience. Meta claims the 2024 Hip Hop Mixtape sat in the top tier of all-time music-pack sales; it has not published unit figures for either mixtape.
