Loop One: Done’s VR Mode Leaves Beta. Horizon+ Gets the Factory.

Jonas Sandstedt’s room-scale factory game left VR-mode beta on September 1, added print-shop facilities in the same build, and joined Meta’s Horizon+ Indie Catalog for September.

AltLabVR’s Quest listing logs v0.19 – VR Update on September 1, 2026: “The VR mode is now out of Beta.” The same notes call out a redesigned UI for hand-tracking and VR, plus new facilities — a 3D printer, a CNC Mill, and an Assembler — each with multiple tech-tree recipes. A v0.19.1 patch followed on September 4 for first-time scene permissions and other crash-class bugs.

What shipped in the VR update

Loop One: Done started life as a mixed-reality automation sandbox: place miners and factories in your real room, record drone and robot loops by hand, and sell products up a tech tree. UploadVR covered the Quest Early Access open on May 2, 2025 at $12.99, with Sandstedt (Ojsan Studio) as the solo developer handling code, art, music, and marketing.

VR mode was the missing half for players who do not want passthrough. The September 1 notes mark that path as out of beta and pair it with a Print Farm line built around the new fabrication machines. The official site still frames the game as hand-tracking-first with controller support, room-scale scaling options, and seated “Miniature Mode.”

Horizon+ and the Steam clock

On September 1, UploadVR’s Horizon+ roundup listed Loop One: Done among seven titles added to the subscription catalogs and explicitly noted the VR-mode update in the same breath. Subscribers on Meta Horizon+ can play it without a separate purchase; the paid Quest listing remains for everyone else.

On Steam, app 4530230 is still “Coming Soon” for PC VR Early Access under a Q3 2026 window. The developer’s Early Access FAQ on that page estimates a full release in September 2026, promises at least sixteen more facilities and materials before 1.0, and says the price will not rise when Early Access ends. A free demo is already listed. Treat the Steam date as Sandstedt’s own estimate until the unlock flips.

The practical takeaway is narrow and useful. If you already play on Quest, VR mode is no longer a beta checkbox — and Horizon+ makes the experiment cheap. If you were waiting for PC VR, the store page still says Q3, with Sandstedt aiming to leave Early Access in September. Either way, the factory is no longer locked to your living-room floor plan.
