Really Interactive, the Stockholm studio behind Toran and Virtuoso, has set a RELEASE date for its next VR game. Terry’s Terraforming arrives on Meta Quest 3 and Quest 3S on OCTOBER 22, according to UploadVR, with a Steam version planned LATER at an unannounced date.

A New Name for a May Reveal
The game is not ENTIRELY new. It was first announced in May under the title Janet’s Planets, and it has now been RENAMED alongside the date announcement. The premise APPEARS UNCHANGED: you restore DYING planets and make them fit for new life, tailoring EACH world to the needs of the aliens who will live there.
UploadVR describes a NARRATIVE campaign of roughly SIX hours. GamersExtra puts the campaign at four to six hours and says the story also involves meeting the demands of corporate SHAREHOLDERS, a SATIRICAL layer on top of the planet-building.
Features and Price
- Terry’s SweetView, which lets you jump INSTANTLY to a planet’s surface to see your changes up CLOSE.
- A Sandbox mode for OPEN experimentation.
- Daily challenges with GLOBAL leaderboards.
- Hand tracking support on Quest 3 and Quest 3S, per GamersExtra.
UploadVR lists the price at $14.99, with a LIMITED-time pre-order discount to $9.99. GamersExtra reports UK pricing of £11.99, discounted to £6.99 for pre-orders on the Meta store. Regional pricing and the length of the offer MAY vary.
Why It Matters
Really Interactive has a SOLID track record with SMALL, polished VR titles, and Toran in particular earned PRAISE as a short sci-fi puzzle game. A MID-PRICED, hand-tracking-friendly sim with daily challenges is the kind of release that can keep Quest 3 owners coming BACK, rather than finishing ONCE and moving on. The confirmed platform list is NARROW for now: only Quest 3 and Quest 3S at launch, so owners of OLDER Quest models or PC VR headsets should NOT assume support until the studio says so.
We will look for HANDS-ON impressions closer to the October 22 LAUNCH.
