Zero Caliber 2: Remastered locks an October 2026 window on PlayStation VR2. XReal Games is shipping the PC VR remaster that landed on Steam in 2025, not the thinner Meta Quest build. No day inside the month is public yet. The wishlist is live.

Per UploadVR, XReal confirmed the sequel on social the day before the August VR Games Showcase, then locked the month with a teaser at the show. The PlayStation Store listing matches the remastered edition. The original Zero Caliber reached PS VR2 in December 2025 using the Quest-rooted Reloaded build; this time the studio is bringing the denser Steam remaster across instead.
What Remastered actually means
UploadVR’s Pete Austin, who played both the Quest version and the PC remaster, called the upgrade “significant”: a visual overhaul, stronger AI, and a clear jump in enemy count. The campaign loop stays cinematic co-op FPS—suburbs under fire, grenades into clusters, mop-up through dust—but the remaster is the build XReal wants as the reference copy. Steam’s remaster shipped October 30, 2025; PS VR2 gets that lineage roughly a year later.
Why the port matters
PS VR2 owners already rate the first game about 4.08 from hundreds of store ratings, per UploadVR’s recap. The sequel keeps four-player co-op, traditional PvP, and the zombies mode that defined the series on PC, without asking buyers to settle for the mobile-scaled Quest cut. October sits after Into the Radius 2 on September 24 and Bad Inmate on October 15, so the headset’s hardcore shooter lane stays busy into the fall.
Exact day, price, and day-one adaptive-trigger support are still open. Wishlist Zero Caliber 2 on the PlayStation Store and watch for a calendar date inside October.
