Drop Dead: The Cabin Is Live on PS VR2. $24.99. Unlock the Vault’s First Ship.

Drop Dead: The Cabin is live on PlayStation VR2 as of September 10, 2026. Soul Assembly’s 1980s-tinged cabin-defense shooter — already on Meta Quest and Steam — is the first title out of Impact Inked’s Unlock the Vault pipeline for Sony’s headset. The U.S. PlayStation Store lists it at $24.99; U.K. pricing trackers show £16.99.

The PlayStation Store listing credits Impact Reality, INC. as publisher on PS5, requires the PS VR2 headset and Sense controllers, and flags headset vibration plus adaptive trigger effects. Online co-op for up to four players needs PlayStation Plus. Early owner ratings on the concept page sat at 4.68 / 5 from 34 ratings shortly after launch — treat that as a thin sample, not a verdict.

What ships on day one

Sony’s store copy frames the loop plainly: hold a woodland cabin against proto-zombie waves, scavenge ammo and tools, level perks, and push into new zones. Solo and 4-player online co-op are both supported. The pitch matches the hybrid Steam build Soul Assembly already ships for PC and PC VR, where the game is listed at $10.99 on Steam app 3516890.

Unlock the Vault context

UploadVR reported on August 18 that Impact Inked launched Unlock the Vault at the August VR Games Showcase as a structured path for established Quest and Steam VR titles onto PS VR2. Drop Dead: The Cabin was the debut reveal, introduced after Flat2VR’s Myles Dyer and former PlayStation executive Shuhei Yoshida framed the program. Additional vault titles were teased for later reveals; no second ship date has been confirmed yet.

For Soul Assembly, the port closes a platform gap. The Cabin launched on Quest 2 in 2023, later gained a mixed-reality Home Invasion spin-off, and reached Steam as a hybrid title supporting up to four players. PS VR2 owners now get the same co-op survival loop with Sense haptics and headset vibration baked into the store requirements.
