Matthew Vaughn’s Stuntnuts Gets Exclusive 3D Version on Meta’s Cinema Slate Next Year

Meta’s Connect post puts ONE theatrical-style ACTION title on its new cinema slate with a CLEAR exclusivity CLAIM: filmmaker Matthew Vaughn and his upcoming movie Stuntnuts will ship a 3D VERSION that launches EXCLUSIVELY NEXT YEAR.

That line is deliberately different from the Billie Eilish concert film Meta also named in the same paragraph. Hit Me Hard and Soft: The Tour is exclusively available to BUY and RENT in 3D on Quest this NOVEMBER. Stuntnuts is timed to NEXT YEAR, framed as an exclusive 3D version, and Meta does not name Quest versus Meta VR Glasses for it.

What Meta Actually Said

The PRIMARY wording is short. Meta writes that it is “teaming up with filmmaker Matthew Vaughn on his upcoming action movie Stuntnuts, with a 3D version launching exclusively next year.” There is NO month, NO ticket price, and NO headset named in that sentence. Stick to that text: EXCLUSIVE 3D, NEXT YEAR — nothing more.

Meta positions VR Glasses as a personal cinema form factor; Stuntnuts’ exclusive 3D window is “next year,” not the November Quest date. Image: Meta.

Mixed-News reads the same Connect paragraph and notes the DEVICE GAP: the Billie title is the ONLY film Meta pairs with BOTH a MONTH and Quest. Stuntnuts, Mixed-News says, follows in 2027 without a named device in Meta’s text — a fair secondary reading of how thin the public detail still is.

Who Vaughn Is — and What Stuntnuts Already Was

Per Wikipedia, Sir Matthew Vaughn is the English filmmaker behind Kick-Ass, the Kingsman franchise, and Argylle. Wikipedia’s Stuntnuts: The Movie entry describes the project as an upcoming Kick-Ass franchise action film directed by Damien Walters. Meta’s Connect note does not add cast, runtime, or a theatrical date — so those details stay out of this report.

How Stuntnuts Sits on the Broader Slate

In the same Immersive Entertainment block, Meta also points to National Geographic: Beyond for 180-degree 3D nature access, a US Quest rent-or-buy film store later this year, and Meta VR Glasses on sale in SPRING 2027 for $1,299.99. Those are neighboring claims, not substitutes for the Stuntnuts sentence. The ACTION exclusive is the NEWS here: a NAMED filmmaker, a NAMED title, and an exclusive 3D window placed AFTER the November Quest concert drop.
