Supernatural is back on Meta Quest. Supernatural Health, the independent studio spun out of Meta this summer, launched the rebuilt VR fitness app in Early Access on October 21, 2026, listed on the Meta Horizon Store as “Supernatural – New.” The download is FREE; the service is NOT. A subscription costs $19.99 a month or $199.99 a year, according to UploadVR.

Five days ago we reported that Early Access was coming “soon” and member history would carry over. Today’s launch fills in the parts that were still open: price tiers, trials, household sharing and a firm import window.

What Launched Today

Per Road to VR, the 15-person team is shipping “thousands of workouts,” including remastered favorites and new sessions, plus hundreds of licensed tracks and a new home environment set at Laguna Torre, a glacial lake in Argentine Patagonia, as 9to5Google describes it. UploadVR says the coaching roster from the Meta era is back, and that gameplay in the new build “appears identical,” with a slightly refreshed, more colorful interface.

  • Headsets: Quest 2, Quest 3, Quest 3S and Quest Pro. The studio’s FAQ says Quest 2 support lasts as long as Meta supports the headset.
  • Trials: 7 days on the monthly plan, 14 days on the annual plan.
  • Households: up to FOUR people can share one subscription on one headset, each with a separate profile.
  • Regions: United States and Canada ONLY, for now.

The Price, in Context

Twelve months at $19.99 comes to $239.88, so the annual plan saves about $40, roughly 17%. Our earlier reporting noted that this is the pre-Meta rate the studio said in June it would restore. The household option changes the math for families: split across four profiles, the annual plan works out to about $50 per person per year.

The bigger question is whether lapsed members return at that price. Supernatural no longer has Meta’s marketing muscle or store placement, and it is asking a subscription price in a Quest catalog where many fitness games are one-time purchases. What it does have is the community that, as The Verge put it, was enraged when Meta stopped adding new content, plus the original coaches.

The December 3 Deadline

Two deadlines land on the SAME day for existing members. First, workout history (points, start date, streaks, favorites and badges) can be transferred from the original app through December 3. Second, Meta’s LEGACY edition, which is no longer publicly searchable on the Quest Store, winds down on that same day, and so do its subscriptions. We first flagged that cutoff when the new app opened its wishlist in September. Anyone still paying Meta for the legacy app should plan the switch before then.

UploadVR notes the new app requires a separate download and a new account, and that registered users received transfer instructions by email. Founding Members start with a custom bat, with more collectibles promised during Early Access.

What Is Still Missing

CEO James Senior framed Early Access as a starting point: “We’ll be adding new workouts every week, bringing back more music and building features like Supernatural Together and a new mobile app. This is just the start.” Multiplayer workouts, the mobile companion app for progress and heart-rate tracking, and higher-definition environments are on the roadmap but have NO dates. The FAQ targets a full release “early next year,” and says the team is restoring the original library “as licensing allows,” so not every legacy workout is guaranteed to return.

The app is also a planned day-one title for Meta’s VR Glasses next spring, a lighter form factor that could suit fitness better than any headset so far. For now, it runs on the Quest hardware people already own.
