MENLO PARK — Hardware stole the KEYNOTE, but Meta Connect 2026 also dropped a DENSE SOFTWARE SLATE for Meta Quest 3, Quest 3S, and the spring 2027 Meta VR Glasses. According to Meta’s Sep 23 games blog and UploadVR’s roundup, the pitch is clear: hand tracking first, controllers optional, and every Quest TITLE playable on the new glasses with Touch Plus.
Beat Saber: Flux. Beat Games framed Flux as the BIGGEST update in the franchise’s history, landing spring 2027 on Meta VR Glasses and Quest. Players CHANNEL ENERGY between their palms to slice notes — the entire game becomes playable WITHOUT CONTROLLERS, though Touch Plus still works. Meta says Flux launches with 35 SONGS, a revamped campaign, and a new progression layer with earnable sabers, notes, and profile badges.
Supernatural RETURNS. The fitness app Meta once owned — then DIVESTED — is coming BACK to the Meta Horizon Store this FALL under independent ownership. Meta promises every point, streak, and badge intact, plus higher-definition environments, workouts, and music. Supernatural is also listed as a DAY 1 title on Meta VR Glasses. Tetris Effect: Mixed Realities. Enhance’s classic gets a hand-controlled, room-aware MIXED REALITY rebuild for 2027. Meta says the game uses ROOM GEOMETRY, lighting, visual effects, and color passthrough so Tetriminos land in your actual SPACE — no CONTROLLERS REQUIRED. UploadVR flags it as one of the clearest demos of what the glasses’ sensing stack is for.
Two Point Hospital and Phoenix Wright. Two Point Studios is reimagining its hospital sim in VR with an interface built for HAND TRACKING on the glasses and Quest 3 / 3S. Capcom’s Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney — Dual Destinies VR puts players in 3D crime scenes, then court, with gesture PRESENTATION and voice activation to shout “Objection!!” Both TARGET 2027 on glasses and Quest.
Near-term Quest dates. PAYDAY: Aces High opens a Quest 3 / 3S PLAYTEST on OCTOBER 19, with an exclusive mask for playtesters before its later-2026 launch; cross-play with PCVR is confirmed.
