VRChat Inc. is taking Hall 8 at Tokyo Game Show for the first time. Hatsune Miku greets visitors in headset on Sep 19–20, with Kizuna Ai and more on the holiday close.
VRChat will exhibit for the first time at Tokyo Game Show 2026, running September 17–21 at Makuhari Messe. The company locked Hall 8 booth 08-N08 and, in a September 4 PR TIMES release, published the stage slate that fills the public days. Mogura VR earlier framed the debut as a thank-you to Japan’s large VRChat community and a first-contact booth for newcomers who can try the platform without bringing a headset.

What the stage actually does
This is not a silent product wall. VRChat’s second TGS briefing puts named IPs and VTubers on a physical stage, with headsets on-site so the same worlds exist in the hall and in-client.
- Hatsune Miku: Yozora Program — Official greeting September 19–20. Visitors wear a headset and meet the Yozora Program 2026 Miku in the special VRChat world, with conversation and reactions. The physical YOZORA PROGRAM 2026 event itself runs around Niigata on September 21; the TGS booth is the meet-and-greet front end.
- Super Princess Kaguya! — Re-screening of the HoneyWorks / Kaguya live from Sanrio Virtual Festival 2026 inside Virtual Sanrio Puroland, plus cosplayers on the hall stage across September 19–21.
- Love Live! Sunshine!! — September 20 only. A look at the Numazu Civic Cultural Center world ahead of the November VRChat stream of Guilty Kiss Musical Performance: Jet-Black Wanted Ghost.
- Koga-ryu Ninja Ponpoko — September 21 in mascot costume, touring worlds including Poko-Pee Land.
- Tokoroba/105ro8 and Kizuna Ai — September 21 double feature: separate VRChat world tours with each host.

Hours and what is still missing
Business days are September 17–18, 10:00–17:00. Public days run September 19–20, 9:30–17:00, and September 21 (holiday) 9:30–16:00. Mogura notes a first-timer experience corner with staff support, novelty items, and venue-exclusive content. The PR TIMES filing calls this drop the second briefing; a third is promised for the full stage timetable and remaining booth detail. Follow @VRChat_JP for those updates.
Japan already punches above its weight in VRChat creator culture. Putting that scene under TGS lights—with Miku on a headset and Kizuna Ai walking worlds on the holiday—is the cleanest public proof of that claim this month. The open question is execution on the floor, not the booking.
