STUFFED: Two Foot Hero Brings Teddy-Bear Wave Shooting to Quest and SteamVR

Waving Bear Studio rebuilt its teddy-bear horde shooter for VR. STUFFED: Two Foot Hero hits Meta Quest and SteamVR in Fall 2026, with solo or four-player co-op.

STUFFED: Two Foot Hero is the VR sequel fans asked for. Announced at the August 2026 VR Games Showcase and detailed in a Games Press release from Waving Bear Studio and Amplified Games, the wave shooter puts you in the paws of a two-foot-tall teddy bear defending a little girl from nightmares inside her dreams. UploadVR pegs the dual-platform window as Fall 2026 on Meta Quest and SteamVR. Price is still unannounced. The Steam page is live for wishlists.

Toy Story with a magazine

The flat Stuffed landed on Xbox in 2023 and Steam in 2024. Steam lists a Mostly Positive score on a few hundred reviews for that original. Lead artist Lucy Earp told Games Press the VR rebuild exists because fans kept asking: the studio tore the game down and rebuilt it for headset scale so you fight from teddy height with physical reloads and dual-wielded household weapons.

The press kit is specific. Twelve weapons plus a hammer. Returning favorite Rock Em Pop Em, a confetti revolver, sits next to Bubble Trouble (laundry-detergent SMG) and Paper Cut (cardboard sword). Defenses include turrets, decoy balloons, and fan traps. Six maps span House, Funfair, and Castle themes, each with its own enemy set. Steam’s store copy adds ten escalating waves per night, Endless Mode, barricade building, and teddy customization for outfits and fur.

Four players, one nightmare

Solo works. So does online co-op up to four players, with revive and shared defenses. Steam also tags Cross-Platform Multiplayer and VR Only, which matters if Quest and PC VR parties are meant to mix. Waving Bear positions the tone as family-friendly horde shooting — Games Press quotes the fan shorthand “Call of Duty meets Toy Story” — aimed at game night rather than survival-horror dread.

What is still missing

Fall 2026 is a season, not a day. No MSRP. No Quest store listing confirmed in the materials we checked. No hands-on yet beyond the showcase trailer. What is locked: dual-platform VR at launch, a rebuilt combat loop from a proven flat IP, and a four-player co-op pitch that does not wait for a post-launch patch. Wishlist on Steam if the teddy-bear FPS brief is yours. Everything else waits on a calendar date.
