Stuffed: Two Foot Hero Sets November 3 Launch on Quest and SteamVR, With a Free PC VR Demo Ahead of Next Fest

Waving Bear Studio and publisher Amplified Games have FINALLY put a DATE on Stuffed: Two Foot Hero. The co-op VR wave shooter LAUNCHES on NOVEMBER 3 on Meta Quest and SteamVR, according to a press release issued October 15. When the game was revealed at the VR Games Showcase pre-show on August 13, the ONLY window given was “Fall 2026.”

The Steam store page now lists the SAME date, Nov 3, 2026, though the game is STILL marked “coming soon” with NO price posted. The press release NAMES Quest 2 and Quest 3 as the Meta TARGETS. The studio has NOT yet said what the game will COST on either store.

What the Demo Contains, and When It Is Live

A FREE demo sits AHEAD of launch. Per the release, it includes ONE full map, ONLINE multiplayer, the COMPLETE arsenal of weapons, a selection of cosmetics, and “a taste” of the progression system, in which players level up BOTH their bear and their weapons. UploadVR reports that it does not yet know whether demo progress will CARRY OVER to the full game.

TIMING depends on which source you read. The PUBLISHER frames the demo around Steam Next Fest, running October 19 to October 26. UploadVR says a demo is ALREADY live on Steam ahead of the festival, and Steam’s OWN listing for the SEPARATE demo app shows a release date of October 5, WINDOWS only, free. In plain terms: PC VR players can try it NOW, and Quest owners will have to WAIT for November 3. We found NO STANDALONE Quest demo announced.

What Ships on November 3

  • SIX maps at launch, spread across three themes: House, Funfair and Castle.
  • 12 weapons, including some RETURNING from the original game. The release cites a laundry-detergent-fueled submachine gun and a decoy balloon with a “crudely drawn-on face.”
  • FOUR-player ONLINE co-op, or SOLO play.
  • A PROGRESSION system covering bear and weapon UPGRADES, plus cosmetics.

The premise is UNCHANGED from the reveal. You play a two-foot-tall teddy bear DEFENDING a little girl from WAVES of nightmares, including skeletons, “demonic ducks” and ghosts. Fans have described it as “Call of Duty meets Toy Story,” a line the studio has ADOPTED in its own marketing. “We’ve been working on Stuffed: Two Foot Hero for the last TWO years,” co-founder and character artist Lucy Earp said in the release. The game is pitched as FAMILY-FRIENDLY, which fits Waving Bear’s stated goal of adapting MATURE genres for YOUNGER players.

The PC Requirements Are Modest

Steam marks the game VR ONLY. The MINIMUM spec is Windows 11, an Intel Core i7-11700F, 16GB of RAM, an NVIDIA RTX 2060 and 2GB of storage. The listing notes that the game “was built to run on Meta Quest 3,” which EXPLAINS why the PC bar is LOW. Steam also TAGS it with CROSS-PLATFORM multiplayer. The developer has not said in so many words whether Quest and Steam players will SHARE lobbies, so treat that as UNCONFIRMED until launch.

Why It Matters

The original Stuffed was a FLAT-SCREEN game. UploadVR dates it to Xbox in 2023 and Steam in 2024. Two Foot Hero is a GROUND-UP VR rebuild made because fans ASKED for it, according to the August announcement. November is a CROWDED month, so pairing a DATED launch with a PLAYABLE PC demo during Next Fest is a SENSIBLE move. The OPEN questions are PRICE and whether Quest and PC players can actually play TOGETHER. We will UPDATE when either is CONFIRMED.
