UploadVR’s Mike Johnson (Sep 23) frames the pitch as a COZY, SINGLE-PLAYER life sim for players underserved by combat-heavy VR. The studio pitches about FIFTY HOURS of content at launch — tend fields, care for animals, ship crops, fish, mine, and fill town REQUESTS in Forgotten Valley.
Hands Only, No Controllers
The entire game is built for FULL HAND TRACKING. Players can LIFT OPEN buildings or HIGHLIGHT fields with their fingers, and new MINIGAMES cover milking cows and shearing sheep. That controller-free design matches Meta VR Glasses, which ship WITHOUT included Touch controllers and lean on eyes and hands as PRIMARY INPUT.
Anime News Network’s Alex Mateo (Sep 24) confirms Marvelous and Grounding as the VR partners and ties the project to Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life — the series entry that first debuted on GameCube as Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life. XSEED’s 2023 remake already refreshed that farm-life loop on Switch, PlayStation, Xbox, and PC; the MR edition REBUILDS those routines for spatial interaction.
