Road to VR’s Scott Hayden reports on October 2, 2026 that mod maker CircuitLord has SHIPPED a FREE Titanfall 2 VR conversion with head tracking, weapon aiming, mech weapon controls, and interactive manual reloading across the game’s FULL weapon roster—campaign only for NOW.

Titanfall 2 has long been remembered for its mechs dropping from the sky, but players know the real HOOK is the PACE on foot: wall running, double jumps, slides, and a grapple that keeps fights in CONSTANT motion. CircuitLord’s mod maps that kit into VR so the same CAMPAIGN can be played with a headset rather than a flatscreen view.
The mod is FREE through CircuitLord’s installer, Road to VR says, and the base game was listed at an 85% discount when the story ran. That combination LOWERS the COST of trying a decade-old shooter in a new form factor—provided you can TOLERATE the motion.
What the Conversion Actually Adds
Hayden’s write-up lists a FULL control rework rather than a thin overlay. Head tracking and weapon aiming are in, mech weapon controls are wired up, and every gun in the roster gets interactive reload handling—including a gesture reload for the Wingman that echoes older VR interaction experiments Road to VR has covered before.

That breadth is why early praise focuses on COMPLETENESS: the conversion tries to make the whole ARSENAL feel hand-driven instead of leaving reloads on a button chord. It is still a mod, not an official Respawn or EA PORT, and Road to VR treats it as a community project with room to GROW.
Motion Sickness Is the Real Gate
Titanfall 2 is one of gaming’s fastest movement shooters. In VR, that SPEED is a HARD FILTER. Road to VR is blunt that the experience will not suit everyone—or even most people. A snap-turn option is included, but wall runs and grapple swings still produce a lot of optical flow that no comfort toggle can fully ERASE.
If you are sensitive to artificial locomotion, treat the mod as a STRESS test rather than a casual evening title. If you already tolerate aggressive PC VR shooters, the same movement that made the flatscreen campaign feel legendary is exactly what the conversion is trying to PRESERVE.

Campaign Only—Multiplayer Still Open
For now the mod covers the single-player campaign ONLY. Road to VR says it asked CircuitLord about multiplayer or other additions and had not published a reply in the October 2 piece. Until that answer lands, buyers should assume online modes are OUTSIDE the supported PATH.
CircuitLord is also building No Shot, described as a spiritual successor to Echo Arena. Road to VR points readers who want more work from the same creator toward supporting that pipeline—not as a requirement to use the Titanfall mod, but as the funding path for more VR experiments of this SCALE.
Metaverse Watcher will WATCH for a public installer update that expands beyond campaign, and for any official word from EA or Respawn. Until then, the CLEAREST public account is Road to VR’s October 2 report: a FREE, campaign-scoped Titanfall 2 VR conversion with DEEP reload work—and a motion warning you should take SERIOUSLY.
