A US reseller has put a PRICE and a DATE on PICO Space Pro before PICO has. Knoxlabs now lists a 16GB memory, 256GB storage ENTERPRISE configuration at $2,899, takes orders as BACKORDERS, and says the headset is “expected to release during the first week of FEBRUARY 2027.” That would put it well past the fourth-quarter 2026 window PICO itself gave in August.
What the listing actually says
The Knoxlabs page names the product as “previously identified as Project SWAN” and gives a manufacturer SKU, X9SN01013H. It describes the unit only as an enterprise headset with 16GB and 256GB. There is NO photo; the page says official imagery is “not yet available” and will be added when PICO releases approved images and full technical materials.
The timing language is not consistent on the same page. One line says the headset “ships within 75-90 days.” Another says Knoxlabs expects initial INVENTORY by mid-February 2027, and adds that dates “may change based on manufacturer and distributor delivery timing.” The store also states that ALL sales are final, with no customer-requested cancellations or refunds except where required by law. Buyers putting down $2,899 on a backorder should read that line TWICE.
What PICO has said
PICO has not published a price or a firm date. On August 24 it moved the Space Pro launch from September 2 to the FOURTH quarter of 2026, citing a “major upgrade” to the software experience and expanded testing through its Pioneer Experience program. PICO has described the headset as pairing dual 4K micro-OLED displays with custom spatial silicon and PICO OS 6, but it has not named SALES regions.
VR.org flagged the listing in its October 9 weekly roundup, noting the page carries “just a grey outline where a headset should be.”
Why it matters
A reseller listing is NOT a manufacturer announcement, and Knoxlabs may be quoting distributor guidance that shifts again. Still, it is the FIRST US price attached to Space Pro anywhere, and it frames the device as an ENTERPRISE product rather than a consumer rival to the $1,299.99 Meta VR Glasses or the $1,279 XREAL Aura. If the February date holds, PICO misses its own quarter. If a consumer SKU exists, nobody has listed it yet.
Metaverse Watcher will update this post when PICO CONFIRMS pricing, regions, or a ship date.
