Out of Sight VR locks a PlayStation VR2 window for the 2026 holiday season, with a Meta Quest build following in 2027. Flat2VR Studios and The Gang confirmed the staggered plan at the August 2026 VR Games Showcase; SteamVR remains the live Early Access home.

UploadVR and Road to VR’s showcase roundup both list the same windows: PS VR2 holiday 2026, Quest 2027, SteamVR out now. The PlayStation Store concept page is live for wishlisting and marks PS VR2 headset vibration and Sense controllers as required.
Second-person, not first
The pitch is unusual for VR horror. Sophie is blind and trapped in a crumbling mansion. You play as her teddy bear: place Teddy on marked spots, scout threats, and guide Sophie through stealth, puzzles, and chase sequences while the house’s history unspools. Flat2VR’s earlier PlayStation Blog introduction framed it as The Gang’s game adapted for VR; Starbreeze sits on the publishing credit alongside Impact Reality / Flat2VR.
UploadVR’s coverage notes Steam Early Access opened in May 2025 and still carries a Positive rating with a thin review pool. The store page once projected a Q4 2025 exit from Early Access that has already slipped. The August showcase finally put console and Quest calendars on the board instead of another vague TBA.
Where it sits in Flat2VR’s slate
Out of Sight is not Flat2VR’s only open file. The same studio is also pushing High On Life VR and System Shock VR across Quest, PS VR2, and Steam — both already covered here. Holiday 2026 on Sony’s headset is the near-term hard date for this title; Quest buyers wait another year. Sitting and standing are listed; the Store page does not claim room-scale.
Wishlist is up on PlayStation and Meta. PC VR players who already own the Steam build get no new story from this announcement — only a clearer map of when everyone else catches up.
