UploadVR still lists Vnow Games’ co-op military shooter for October 27, but Steam now says November 1, in Early Access for about two years, with one operation mode and a price that climbs as content arrives.
Pimax’s Spation pairs a Ryzen 7 9800X3D with an RX 9070 XT or RTX 5070 Ti for flight-sim VR. Its press release and FAQ describe two different DIY kits, and there is no price, date or reservation yet.
Valve’s October 2 Proton Experimental entry adds early 32-bit OpenXR support, but only on x86 and only with PROTON_USE_WOW64=1, a variable missing from the README’s options table. No game, figures, or stable date are given.
Buffalo Buffalo’s $19.99 PC VR port of its rhythm roguelite on skis launched September 10 with little notice. UploadVR likes the motion controls but flags a forced blackout when you look away, a dead pause binding, and no in-game remapping.
Pimax’s new wireless PC VR headset ships in 2027 for $1,399, but Native Foveated Streaming needs the $599 60G AirLink kit, and standalone apps run on a Snapdragon XR2 Gen 1.
evilSheep’s free Max Payne 2 VR mod shipped four prereleases between September 27 and 30, adding manual reloads, bullet time and loaded-gun racking. It is PC VR only, needs your own Steam copy, and one test build dropped the PS VR2 trigger helper after antivirus quarantines.
Arken Age 1.008.000 adds Steam Frame PC streaming and controller remaps, while VitruviusVR says it has not decided whether a standalone Frame port beats focusing on its next VR title.
SweetPulse Games’ Saddlebow, a seven-minute score-attack hunt fired from a moving horse, has a free Steam demo live now. The full game is dated November 2, but support is limited to Index and Quest over Link.
Solo developer Jonas Sandstedt says the Quest mixed reality factory game Loop One: Done launches in Steam Early Access on October 5 as a PC VR title. The Steam listing still shows only “2026” and no price, and it has not yet been tested on Steam Frame.
Buffalo Buffalo’s free-to-play cozy bird photography game leaves Quest-only status for SteamVR on October 8, with cross-play for up to four players.
