Virtuix Becomes an Official Meta Reseller, Bundling Quest 3 and 3S With Omni One From $2,944

Virtuix now SELLS Meta hardware DIRECTLY. The Austin treadmill maker (NASDAQ: VTIX) said on October 13 that it has become an OFFICIAL reseller of Meta products and has launched consumer BUNDLES that PAIR Omni One for Quest with a Meta QUEST 3 or QUEST 3S headset. The company also says it now appears as a PARTNER on Meta’s Made for Meta website. The GlobeNewswire release gives NO unit counts and NO revenue.

What the Bundles Actually Cost

The release does NOT list PRICES, but Virtuix’s Omni One for Quest store page does. The TREADMILL on its own, for buyers who bring a compatible headset, is $2,595. Adding a QUEST 3S raises the checkout to $2,944 (+$349). Adding a QUEST 3 brings it to $3,194 (+$599). The box contains the treadmill, TWO pairs of overshoes, foot TRACKERS, and cleaning supplies. Virtuix lists a 30-day REFUND guarantee, a 12-month home WARRANTY, and a limited-time bundle of FOUR free games: Star Trek: Infection, WRATH: Aeon of Ruin, EXOSHOCK, and Drunkn Bar Fight.

The headset now costs only a FRACTION of the purchase. Even the Quest 3 add-on is UNDER 19% of the full bundle price. Reseller status MAINLY removes a SECOND checkout: a buyer no longer has to get the treadmill from Virtuix and the headset somewhere else. It does NOT change the CORE decision, which is whether to SPEND about $2,600 on a locomotion platform.

The “3X” Figure, Again

Virtuix AGAIN says Omni One ORDERS are up “approximately 3X” compared with the same period last year, and it credits the JUNE launch of Omni One for Quest. That is the SAME multiple the company gave in its September 30 update, which we covered at the time. The new release STILL gives NO BASELINE. A tripling of a SMALL order book is a DIRECTION, not a SCALE, and Virtuix has not said how many systems it has SHIPPED to Quest owners.

The CONTENT claims also CARRY OVER. Virtuix cites MORE than 75 Quest games that are “compatible or expected to become compatible,” including Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Empire City, The Boys: Trigger Warning, and Forefront, plus more than 100 PC VR GAMES. It also cites a 4.9-out-of-5 customer rating but does NOT say how many REVIEWS that figure is based on. Note the wording “expected to become”: some of the 75 are PROMISES, not shipped support.

Why Meta Distribution Matters to Virtuix

The STRATEGIC case is SIMPLE. Omni One originally shipped with its OWN bundled headset, so buyers had to adopt a separate ecosystem. The June Quest version OPENED the hardware to what Virtuix calls the “tens of millions” of Quest headsets already in use. Becoming a RESELLER is the NEXT step in the same direction. CEO Jan Goetgeluk said in the release that “sales are surging” and pointed to “additional promotional opportunities on the horizon” before the HOLIDAY season. He did NOT describe those opportunities, and Meta has NOT COMMENTED on the arrangement.

The company is SMALL. Tech Insider, citing MarketBeat, reports that VTIX shares closed around $0.99 on October 12 and 13, with market-cap estimates of about $30 million to $34 million. Robotics Business News carried the announcement on October 14 WITHOUT new figures. Virtuix’s own boilerplate now describes the business as “AI-driven, full-body simulation” and lists DEFENSE programs with the U.S. Army, Marine Corps, Navy, and Air Force. The consumer Quest channel is ONE part of a broader pitch.

What to Watch

THREE things would make this more than a distribution note. FIRST, actual SHIPMENT or revenue figures for the Quest bundles in Virtuix’s next financial filing. SECOND, which of the 75 listed titles have native locomotion SUPPORT and which only MAP stick movement. THIRD, whether the Made for Meta relationship carries over to META VR GLASSES, which Virtuix said on September 30 it expects to support, subject to integration and TESTING. Until then, the October 13 news is a CONVENIENCE upgrade for buyers who already want a $2,595 treadmill. It does not yet show broad DEMAND.
