URXR One Kickstarter Closes at $1.29M for 93g Glasses

Unseen Reality’s URXR ONE Kickstarter is CLOSED — and the FINAL tally clears $1.28 MILLION.

Road to VR reports the campaign wrapped September 18, 2026 with $1,288,712 pledged. Kickstarter’s public project page shows a matching SUCCESSFUL close near $1,288,713 against a $50,000 goal. That is the END of the crowdfunding window that opened August 4 — not a soft preview.

What Closed Today

URXR ONE is a TETHERED spatial DISPLAY, not a standalone headset and not birdbath AR like Xreal or Viture. Road to VR puts the frame under 93 GRAMS. Dual 1.03-inch micro-OLED panels run 2,448 × 2,064 per eye, about 36 PPD, 90 Hz, and a claimed 90° diagonal field of view. On-glasses SLAM with a 1,000 Hz IMU supports switchable 3DoF and 6DoF. PASSTHROUGH is listed at 2,328 × 1,728 and under 10 ms. There is NO battery in the glasses — power and pixels ride USB-C DisplayPort Alt Mode from a laptop, phone, tablet, or handheld.

That design CHOICE is the product: a slim bag display that borrows compute from whatever you already carry, aimed at flatscreen games, film, browsing, and spreadsheets rather than a Quest-class app store.

Price, Ship Window, Power Hub

Road to VR says Kickstarter supporters locked an EARLY backer price of about $800, with regular orders framed near a $900 MSRP. INITIAL shipping for those backers is targeted for mid-October 2026. A separate POWER HUB bridge module powers phones and handhelds when the host cannot feed the glasses alone. Speakers sit on the host device; the glasses carry a microphone array and hand tracking, not onboard audio.

Our September 13 preview caught the campaign at about $1.15M with Friday’s close still ahead. Today’s number is the SETTLED figure: roughly $1.29M, successful, and past the pledge deadline.

Why the Close Matters This Week

September’s XR calendar is STACKED — Snap SPECS, Steam Frame purchase emails, and Meta Connect next week. URXR ONE is a DIFFERENT bet: crowdfunded micro-OLED glasses that stay light by OFFLOADING compute. Crowdfunding is not a store shelf. Hardware timelines slip. What is confirmed tonight is the PUBLIC Kickstarter OUTCOME: overfunded by more than 2,500%, CLOSED, with Unseen Reality still pointing at mid-October for the first glasses shipments.
