GOSIGHT P1 Brings Binocular Full-Color AR to IFA Berlin. Indiegogo Follows October 27.

GOSIGHT unveiled P1, its first all-in-one binocular full-color AI+AR glasses, on September 4, 2026, ahead of a public debut at IFA Berlin 2026 (booth H5.2-429). The pitch is blunt: full-color AR has already proved an image can appear in front of the eye. The harder problem is keeping that experience on for a real day. Per the company’s GlobeNewswire / TechBriefs release and the product brief on gosightai.com.

Crowdfunding opens on Indiegogo on October 27, 2026. Final pricing, markets, and delivery estimates are still pending. Specs below are GOSIGHT’s published targets until verification and order pages go live.

Hot-swap power, not a bigger fixed cell

P1’s headline system is a hot-swappable battery. An on-glass bridge cell (listed at 110mAh) works with a removable external module and a charging case (400mAh in the site specs) so a depleted pack can be exchanged while the glasses are designed to stay active—no forced shutdown mid-session. That is not infinite runtime. It is a different failure mode: swap instead of sit and wait.

Product lead Ryan Du framed the bet in the launch note: the next milestone is keeping the experience available long enough to matter, not merely making an image appear.

Binocular Micro-OLED, 105-inch claim

Optics: binocular 0.3-inch Micro-OLED panels behind a full-color array waveguide. GOSIGHT targets a virtual image equivalent to a 105-inch screen at six meters (~19.7 feet), 60 Hz, automatic brightness, and optical transmittance above 85%. Official site numbers go further: 1280×480 per eye, roughly 54.6 PPD, horizontal FOV about 25°, eye-level brightness up to 800 nits, and DCI-P3 ≥ 95%.

Waveguide work is credited to GlaxReality / GOSIGHT Photonics, with claims around suppressed rainbow artifacts, grid texture, and outward light leakage—so the lenses read as open eyewear when the display is off.

Form factor and capture

Weight target: about 69 grams (site table: ≤70g). Everyday-glasses silhouette, forged carbon-fiber-texture temples, six planned finishes, interchangeable polarized sun lenses, and a prescription insert frame in the box. Ingress rating target: IPX4.

A 12MP line-of-sight camera (Sony IMX681, global shutter on the site sheet) supports first-person stills and 1080p video, with a live viewfinder in the binocular display so framing is not guesswork. Dual mics and open-ear speakers cover notes, calls, and spoken guidance.

Privacy is hardware-first: a recording LED tied to the camera path, intended to stop capture if the indicator is blocked, plus an optional physical camera cover for offices and meeting rooms.

On-glass AI, 20-language translation

GOSIGHT positions selected experiences to run on the glasses—navigation, translation, object recognition, first-person capture—without constantly bouncing to a phone. The site lists real-time translation across 20 languages, meeting-note HUD, teleprompter prompts, and wireless casting for phone/PC-tied flows. OS is described as Android-based with a GOSIGHT AI layer. Feature availability will vary by region, language, and companion device; the company says the final launch feature set lands before orders open.

What is still unknown

No public sticker price yet. Crowdfunding timing is set; ship dates and verified endurance numbers are not. IFA is the demo window. Indiegogo on October 27 is when early backers find out whether the targets survive a real order page. Until then, treat the sheet as a roadmap with a booth number attached.
