The ROG Xbox Ally X20 went on sale October 15 at $1,299, or $2,499 with ROG XREAL R1 Edition 20 AR glasses that ASUS says hit 240Hz through image scaling, at 700 nits peak.
Xreal’s new 1 Pro+ display glasses go on sale in the US at $599 with brighter 1,200-nit panels, AI HDR, 60fps 2D-to-3D conversion and a redesigned nose pad. The X1 chip, Sony micro-OLEDs and 57-degree field of view carry over, and the original One Pro is still listed at the same price.
TrendForce forecasts AR glasses shipments rising 111.1% to 1.31 million in 2026. Meta leads at about 20%, while XREAL, Even Realities, Rokid and RayNeo hold 53.2% combined.
Xreal’s Aura page now lists 1920×1200 per eye, 1,050 nits, 95 grams and a 34.84Wh puck. It still omits battery runtime, puck weight and a ship date, and its FAQ still calls pricing unannounced.
XREAL’s US store gives $299 Founder Priority Pass holders until October 17 to pay for AURA and secure a numbered Limited Edition; October 31 is the cutoff for priority shipping, which XREAL says is dispatch order, not a delivery date.
Rokid confirms Rokid Jungle 2026 on October 27 and a formal launch for its second-gen display glasses. A full-color model, JBD and Goertek optics, and sub-4,000-yuan pricing are still reported estimates.
XREAL’s June plan put the UK in AURA’s fall launch and the EU right after. Its October 7 release names only the U.S., Canada, Japan and South Korea, with other markets in 2027, and EU and Australian reservation holders are being offered refunds.
