Squingle Arcade is live on SteamVR today. Steam’s store API lists coming_soon: false, a September 9, 2026 release stamp, and a free buy box. The Quest build has been out since July 9 — this is the PC VR unlock, not a new maze pack.

Developer Ben Outram and publisher VRAL Games locked the Steam day last week. Our September 5 date-lock still showed Coming Soon on the Steam page. That label is gone. The live listing sells Squingle Arcade as free-to-play under Casual, Indie, and Free To Play, with in-app purchases for cosmetics and a VR Only flag.
The pitch is unchanged from the Quest launch UploadVR covered on July 9: guide twin revolving orbs through morphing tubular mazes, collect pods, avoid edges, and chase ghost runs for medals. Steam’s short description now quotes “60+ morphing 3D mazes,” while the long description still promises 100+ levels, room-scale or seated play, and asynchronous leaderboards after a gold medal. Treat the store copy as the live product sheet; the Quest original already proved the loop.

Hardware notes from the Steam page: Windows 10, GTX 1060 / RX 480 class GPU, 8 GB RAM, SteamVR. Controllers listed are Valve Index Controllers or Meta / Oculus Touch. Mixed reality / passthrough was a Quest selling point at launch; the Steam page frames the experience as VR Only without a separate MR checkbox. If you wanted desk-scale passthrough mazes, the Horizon Store build remains the clearer path.
September’s calendar is loud around this free unlock. Detective VR expanded to Steam and PS VR2 today. Tomorrow stacks Lightkeepers, Transformers: Beyond Reality Redux, Bomb The Hill, Gunman Contracts Stand Alone, and Fresh Tracks. Squingle Arcade is one of the few free-to-play entries with a hard Steam day in that stretch — useful for Index and PCVR link owners who skipped the Quest free download in July.
