Fresh Tracks VR Hits Steam September 10. Rhythm Skiing Goes Headset-Only.

Fresh Tracks VR locks September 10, 2026 on Steam. Buffalo Buffalo’s skiing rhythm roguelite—out as a flatscreen title since August 2025—ships as a separate VR-only build six days from now, the same day a content update lands for the original game.

UploadVR’s September calendar stamps the date. The Steam store page matches: coming soon, release set to September 10, 2026. Price is still blank. The pitch is blunt—jump, dodge, and fight to the rhythm while skiing deeper into Norwyn under the Queen of Terror.

Rhythm on skis, not another Beat Saber clone

Steam’s feature list leans on three loops. Movement, combat, and progression sync to a dynamic soundtrack. Roguelite runs peel back more of Norwyn’s Mythics through story and song. A 28-track, genre-crossing score is meant to shift with how you ski. The flatscreen original already sold that fantasy; the VR edition is tagged VR Only with Tracked Controller Support, not a dual-mode fork.

Supported headsets on the listing include Meta Quest 2 and Quest 3 (via PC link), Windows Mixed Reality, HP Reverb, HTC Vive, and Index. Minimum PC bar: Windows 10 64-bit, an i7-8700K or Ryzen 5 3600, 8 GB RAM, a GTX 1660 / RX 580 class GPU, and 4 GB of storage. That is a lighter ask than several September PCVR titles, but it is still a tethered bet.

September 10 is crowded for a reason

Fresh Tracks VR shares the day with Quest releases The Lightkeepers and Bomb The Hill, plus Steam’s Gunman Contracts – Stand Alone. For PCVR owners who skipped the August 2025 flatscreen launch, the VR build is the first time the slope is designed around tracked controllers. Studio contact on Steam is buffalobuffalo.ca; wishlist is live now.
