Fresh Tracks VR is live on Steam. Buffalo Buffalo’s headset-only port of the August 2025 rhythm skiing roguelite unlocked today at $16.99 (15% off the $19.99 list), tagged VR Only with tracked controller support.
The Steam store page now shows a Buy button, package 1470957, and coming_soon: false with release date September 10, 2026. That closes the gap from our earlier calendar note and the September 4 date lock. Existing flatscreen owners get a separate path: Buffalo Buffalo’s anniversary messaging promised progress migration into the VR build and a 50% discount on the combined Steam bundle—check the store’s bundle panel for the live discount, since package pricing can move.
What ships in the VR build
Steam’s feature list is unchanged from the preview window. Movement, combat, and progression sync to a dynamic soundtrack. Roguelite runs peel back more of Norwyn through the Mythics’ story and song. A 28-track score is pitched to shift with how you ski. Minimum PC bar on the listing: Windows 10 64-bit, an i7-8700K or Ryzen 5 3600, 8 GB RAM, a GTX 1660 / RX 580 class GPU, and 4 GB of storage. Supported headsets named on the page include Meta Quest 2 and Quest 3 via PC link, Windows Mixed Reality, HP Reverb, HTC Vive, and Index.
Anniversary day, crowded slate
Fresh Tracks VR lands on the same calendar square as Quest’s The Lightkeepers and Bomb The Hill, plus Steam’s Gunman Contracts – Stand Alone.
