FunFitLand Adds Knee Strikes to CombatFit and Brings Space Sessions to Vision Pro

FunFitLand has added KNEE strikes to CombatFit, its boxing-style WORKOUT series on Meta Quest, and has brought its meditative SPACE sessions to Apple Vision Pro, according to UploadVR. It is a SMALL update on paper, but it shows a fitness service adding NEW movement types rather than only shipping more content in the same style.

How the knee strike works

The move combines an upper-body GRAB with a lower-body lift. The player reaches for an overhead target, pulls it DOWN, and raises one knee at the same time to “smash” it. UploadVR’s reviewer, who tested the feature through TWO rounds of beta iteration, says the FINISHED version delivers a solid ABDOMINAL workout, with visual, audio, and, on controllers, HAPTIC feedback at the moment of impact.

Beta feedback shaped the design. Testers found the two-handed grab helped them BALANCE during the strike, compared with a LEG lift on its own, and the reviewer says that matched his experience.

CombatFit only, and optional

Founder Meng Zhang told UploadVR there are NO plans to add knee strikes to the SwingFit or FlowFit modes for now. His reasoning is that the “percussive” hits suit CombatFit, while knee strikes would DISRUPT the more flowing rhythm of the other sessions, a view he says BETA users shared.

A tutorial plays AUTOMATICALLY the first time a player picks a workout that includes knee strikes, and it can be REPLAYED later. Players can also TURN OFF knee strikes in settings, which matters for anyone with balance or JOINT limits.

Space reaches Vision Pro

The Space sessions, a set of IMMERSIVE environments for cooling down or relaxing, are now available on visionOS. Along with FunFitLand’s recently released MOBILE companion app, which adds HEART RATE tracking inside VR workouts, the update brings Vision Pro closer to FEATURE parity with the Quest version.

FunFitLand is available on Meta Quest and Apple Vision Pro. The subscription costs $9.99 per MONTH or $99.99 per YEAR.

Why it matters

VR fitness RETENTION depends on VARIETY. Adding a full-body move that engages the CORE gives EXISTING subscribers a reason to stay, and shipping the same features on Vision Pro signals that the studio sees Apple’s HEADSET as a REAL platform, not a side port.
