TONIGHT closes Apple’s 2026 Apple Immersive MLB experiment. The San Francisco Giants visit the Los Angeles Dodgers at Dodger Stadium in a Friday Night Baseball double duty: the flat Apple TV stream and a separate Vision Pro Immersive FEED that wraps the park in 8K, 180-degree 3D. DodgerBlue reports the series OPENER was selected for both, and that this MATCHUP ends the Immersive MLB SCHEDULE for the year.

What the Immersive Booth Delivers
Unlike a conventional broadcast stretched onto a virtual screen, Immersive MLB is a dedicated Vision Pro PRODUCTION. Capture is 8K resolution with a 180-degree VIEW of the field. DodgerBlue says viewers are pulled into dugout and on-deck vantage points, with an Immersive graphics package that floats LINEUPS and STATS in SPACE. The feed STAYS LIVE between innings, pitching changes, and other breaks instead of cutting away from the stadium.
The Immersive booth is Paul Severino on play-by-play, Xavier Scruggs as ANALYST, and Michelle Margaux as REPORTER, with headset-specific REPLAYS. Spatial Audio comes from AMBISONIC microphones around the park. First pitch is 7:00 p.m. PT / 10:00 p.m. ET, matching Apple’s earlier September FNB slate.

Flat FNB Booth and iPhone 18 Pro Cameras
The traditional Friday Night Baseball crew on Apple TV is Wayne Randazzo, Dontrelle Willis, and Heidi Watney. Apple is also staging more than a DOZEN iPhone 18 Pro units around Dodger Stadium for unique ANGLES—batting practice, player introductions, dugout perspectives, and ballpark atmosphere. MacRumors cites Apple’s line that the phone’s small FOOTPRINT unlocks shots traditional cameras struggle to reach.
Four-Game Slate Ends Here
Immersive MLB opened August 28 with Red Sox–Yankees, then Angels–Pirates on September 4 and Padres–Giants on September 11. Giants–Dodgers is the FOURTH and FINAL live Immersive date of 2026, per DodgerBlue. Our September 7 schedule overview flagged this FINALE when two Fridays remained; tonight is the CLOSEOUT, not a rewrite of that slate piece.

Where You Can Stream It
Vision Pro users with an Apple TV SUBSCRIPTION can watch LIVE Immersive MLB in Australia, Canada, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, the United Kingdom, and the United States through the Apple TV app. Full-game REPLAYS and a HIGHLIGHT package land ON DEMAND after the broadcast. Flat Friday Night Baseball still rides the wider Apple TV footprint; Immersive remains the HEADSET-ONLY track.
For spatial computing, the SIGNAL is operational: Apple finished a four-game LIVE sample inside a real MLB rivalry night, with a dedicated booth, stadium-scale CAPTURE, and phone-camera promos on the flat feed. Whether that is enough to keep a Vision Pro on for three hours is the question tonight answers for Dodger Stadium.
