Wearable Devices is TAKING its Mudra Link wristband to ENTERPRISE smart-glasses teams, and the pitch RESTS on a deliberately BORING trick: the $499 band shows up on a host as an ORDINARY Bluetooth MOUSE. The Israeli company’s October 13 release, filed with the SEC as an exhibit, INTRODUCES a NEW Mudra Studio Evaluation Kit at the Augmented Enterprise Summit in Atlanta, but it PUBLISHES NO price for that kit.
What Wearable Devices Actually Announced
The press release CALLS Mudra Link a “universal electromyography (“EMG”)-based neural wristband” that “connects to compatible devices through standard Bluetooth Human Interface Device (“HID”).” Out of the box it offers “pointing and directional-pad navigation using gestures such as tap, swipe, scroll, and more.”
The NEWS is the SOFTWARE. Mudra Studio, the company says, lets teams “build, test and customize neural-input applications using natural-language prompts,” and the wristband plus software lets enterprises EVALUATE input experiences “within days.” The kit is being DEMOED at Booth #620 during the October 13 to 15 summit. Wearable Devices’ own product page now says Mudra Link “is now part of Mudra Studio Evaluation kit,” yet NEITHER page lists what the KIT COSTS.

The XR List Is Mostly Compute Boxes, Not Glasses
Wearable Devices names FOUR XR devices it works with: XREAL’s Beam Pro, VITURE’s neckband, Rokid’s Station 2 and INMO’s AIR3. Only the AIR3 is a pair of GLASSES. The other THREE are the Android COMPUTE units that DRIVE tethered display glasses, which is exactly where a generic HID mouse makes sense: the host already UNDERSTANDS a pointer, so NO DRIVER is needed.
The BROADER list runs through Windows PCs, macOS, iPhone and iPad, Android phones and tablets, smart TVs and streaming boxes such as Apple TV, Google TV and Fire TV. What is MISSING is Meta. Meta’s own Neural Band ARRIVED in September 2025 BUNDLED with the $799 Meta Ray-Ban Display, and it remains the REFERENCE point for EMG input on glasses. Mudra Link does not CLAIM ANY Meta SUPPORT, and Meta’s glasses are not on its compatibility list.
The Hardware, by the Numbers
Per the product page, Mudra Link CARRIES 3 SNC neural sensors and a 6-DoF IMU (accelerometer and gyroscope), with stainless steel electrodes. Wearable Devices RATES it at up to 8 HOURS of ACTIVE use and a FULL charge in 80 MINUTES. It is 22 mm wide, 10 mm thick including the strap, WEIGHS 36 grams, is rated IP56 and uses Bluetooth Low Energy.

There is one CATCH in the driver-free story. Initial setup still REQUIRES the Mudra Link app on Windows 10 or 11, or macOS 14 and later. After that, the band behaves as standard HID input, and the app is for CUSTOMIZATION and firmware. Teams deploying on an XREAL or Rokid compute unit will NEED a DESKTOP machine for that FIRST pairing step.
An Enterprise Pitch, With Caveats Attached
Chief marketing officer Shmuel Barel AIMED the kit SQUARELY at INDUSTRY: “Manufacturing, logistics and healthcare bring digital information into hands-on work, where interaction needs to fit real working conditions.” The release lists work instructions, training and remote support as TARGET uses, and ARGUES the band works “when hands are lowered or outside camera view,” the scenario where camera-based HAND TRACKING on glasses STRUGGLES.
Ohad Shevily, VP of product development, said Mudra Studio lets teams “test interactions faster and make informed integration decisions before committing additional engineering resources.” Those are COMPANY claims. The release carries a forward-looking-statements DISCLAIMER that EXPLICITLY covers “the capabilities, benefits and potential applications” of Mudra Link and Mudra Studio, and no CUSTOMER, PILOT or DEPLOYMENT is named.
Why It Matters
Wrist-worn EMG is BECOMING the DEFAULT answer to input on display glasses, and Meta has DEFINED the category with a band that ONLY works with its own hardware. Wearable Devices, which trades on Nasdaq as WLDS and also sells a $299 Mudra Band for Apple Watch, is BETTING on the OPPOSITE approach: be a PLAIN mouse that every Android XR-adjacent compute box already ACCEPTS. The OPEN questions are the ones the release leaves BLANK, namely the kit’s PRICE, real-world gesture ACCURACY, and whether any named enterprise has SIGNED on.
