Green Hell VR just got a free painting and modular building update on Meta Quest and PlayStation VR2. Incuvo showed it at the August VR Games Showcase; UploadVR confirmed the patch is live on both storefronts.
Painting stays diegetic. Players craft a brush and bowl — new recipes in the update — then decorate camp surfaces instead of picking a color from a menu. Building expands with two modular pieces: triangle frames and plank structures, layered on the earlier modular kit so camps can leave the rectangle log cabin look behind.
One million on Quest, paid cosmetics on the side
Incuvo is marking a Quest milestone with a free anniversary shirt for players after Green Hell VR crossed one million players on that platform. Two optional cosmetic packs sit beside the free drop: the Art Instructor Pack at $2.99 and the Painter Pack at $1.99.
Steam still waits on the PSVR2-parity branch
The patch does not land on the current SteamVR build. UploadVR notes Incuvo had aimed to port the more linear PSVR2/Quest campaign branch to PC VR this summer; a June roadmap update slid that work into fall for more testing. Existing Steam owners are set to get the new branch for free while the original PC VR version stays available — so expect two PC VR lanes once that ship date hardens.
