Omega Pilot Evolution Is Live on Steam Today. OpenXR Racing at $13.99 Launch.

Omega Pilot Evolution is LIVE on Steam TODAY. Xocus’s anti-gravity RACER unlocked on September 17, 2026—the date Steam had locked for days—and the store API now reads coming_soon: false with a U.S. list price of $19.99 and a 30% LAUNCH cut to $13.99.

That puts the Wipeout-style PC build on the same crowded September 17 slate as UploadVR’s calendar: CleanSheet Soccer 2 and Sol Protocol on Quest, CONVRGENCE 1.0 leaving Early Access on SteamVR, Exoshock’s open beta, and Sony’s Firewall Ultra SHUTDOWN the same morning.

What ships on Steam

Steam’s about-text and feature flags match the product brief already LIVE on PlayStation since August 13. You can race in IMMERSIVE VR or on a regular screen, in first- or third-person, under OpenXR. Categories list single-player, online PvP, CROSS-PLATFORM multiplayer, tracked controller support, and VR Supported.

Confirmed across UploadVR’s August launch report, Road to VR’s showcase notes, and the Steam listing:

  • Real-time MULTIPLAYER for up to FIVE players, plus asynchronous / ghost rivals and leaderboards
  • COMBAT racing with blasters, EMPs, shields, and tactical pickups
  • Ship UPGRADES for speed, handling, and durability, plus visual customization
  • Windows 10/11 with a GTX 1070 Ti–class floor and OpenXR VR support

Road to VR’s August showcase write-up also cited 28 TRACKS, Championship events, and quick bot races—detail that sits beside Steam’s shorter blurb.

Platform clock

PlayStation 5 and PlayStation VR2 have had the title since the August 13 VR Showcase at $19.99 for one SKU that covers flat and optional VR. Steam is the PC UNLOCK that was missing until today. Meta’s Quest listing still reads Coming September 2026 without a day stamp; Pico remains a fall target from the showcase materials.

For readers already in the PlayStation lobby, the Steam build is the same anti-gravity LOOP on OpenXR hardware. For PC VR players who sat out the PS5 window, September 17 was the DATE—and the storefront is OPEN.
