Color-A-Cube Turns Walkabout Courses Into Voxel Maps for Four Weeks

AlterEyes’ Color-A-Cube is running a four-week crossover with Mighty Coconut’s Walkabout Mini Golf. Four courses become 3D voxel coloring maps on Quest and Pico — Tiki à Coco is already live.

UploadVR reports that cozy voxel color-by-number game Color-A-Cube has locked a September collaboration with Walkabout Mini Golf. Across four weeks, a different Walkabout course lands as a three-dimensional voxel coloring project inside Color-A-Cube’s weekly drops. Week one — Tiki à Coco — is already available; Sweetopia, Raptor Cliffs, and 8-Bit Lair follow.

The schedule

Per UploadVR’s Mike Johnson, the September slate is fixed:

  • Week 1 — Tiki à Coco (live)
  • Week 2 — Sweetopia
  • Week 3 — Raptor Cliffs
  • Week 4 — 8-Bit Lair

The collab sits inside Color-A-Cube’s existing weekly model drops, which have already mixed seasonal puzzles with crossover content from other games. It is not a Walkabout DLC and does not require owning Walkabout to paint the maps.

Why the crossover fits

Walkabout Mini Golf is one of VR’s longest-running course catalogs — Steam, PS VR2, Quest, Pico, and Samsung Galaxy XR — with a steady DLC cadence of themed holes. Color-A-Cube, from Belgian studio AlterEyes (Big Shots), left Early Access on Quest and Pico on June 18, 2026. UploadVR’s June impressions called out the same bet the collab now doubles down on: one clear loop, executed cleanly, rather than a stack of systems.

That June write-up priced the base Quest/Pico build at $7.99 with a free trial, more than 100 voxel models, weekly free drops, and monthly paid packs plus a Color Pass for players who want the full DLC set. The Walkabout maps arrive through the free weekly channel, which keeps the crossover low-friction for anyone already in the app.

Where to play

Color-A-Cube is live on Meta Quest and Pico. A non-VR Steam build remains listed separately under AlterEyes’ Color-A-Cube page. Walkabout Mini Golf stays on its usual storefronts if you want the original courses after painting them.

For Metaverse Watcher readers, the news is modest and useful: two catalog fixtures sharing assets for a month, with Tiki à Coco already in the weekly drop and three more Walkabout holes queued before October.
