VR Release Calendar: November 2026

By Metaverse Watcher staff. Published November 1, 2026. Release dates checked on Steam, the Meta Horizon Store and developer announcements on November 1, 2026. Dates move often, so confirm on the store page before you plan around one.

This is the first edition of the VR Release Calendar, Metaverse Watcher’s monthly guide to every dated VR game, port and hardware milestone, across Meta Quest, PC VR, Steam Frame and PS VR2. We will update this page through the month as dates change, and our twice-weekly New VR Games This Week roundup covers each week’s launches in more detail.

The short version: November’s VR slate is front-loaded. Four notable releases land on November 5 alone, led by PAYDAY: Aces High, and November 12 brings the Quest debut of Hot Dogs, Horseshoes & Hand Grenades 2. After Age of Arca on November 17, the calendar goes quiet until Black Friday on November 27.

November 5: The Busiest VR Day of the Month

PAYDAY: Aces High key art from the Steam store page, Fast Travel Games VR co-op heist shooter launching November 5, 2026
PAYDAY: Aces High launches November 5 at $24.99. Image: Fast Travel Games / Steam.

PAYDAY: Aces High is the month’s headline launch. Fast Travel Games’ four-player co-op spinoff of Starbreeze’s heist series arrives on Meta Quest, SteamVR and Steam Frame for $24.99, a date and price the studio confirmed on October 19. According to VR.org’s release tracker, one Steam purchase covers both the PC VR and Steam Frame builds. Players who joined the October 19–26 playtest get a Kitty Mask in the full game. We tracked its road to launch in our playtest coverage.

The same day is unusually strong for PlayStation VR2 owners. Triangle Factory brings Forefront, its 32-player Battlefield-style shooter, to PS VR2 with cross-play against Quest and PC VR players, adaptive triggers, headset haptics and 90Hz on both PS5 and PS5 Pro, UploadVR reports. XReal Games’ Zero Caliber 2 also lands on PS VR2, using the Remastered edition from Steam and running at a native 90 frames per second, as we covered in our Zero Caliber 2 release date report. Per UploadVR, its co-op campaign is still believed to be limited to same-platform players.

Rounding out the day, FLYON RC is a small mixed reality flight game for flying drones, RC planes and helicopters around your own room or built-in arenas. The Meta Horizon Store listing shows it coming November 5 at 10 AM PST, and Quest Store DB lists a $5.99 base price with a $4.99 pre-order discount. It is one of the few November games that still supports Quest 2 and Quest Pro.

Early November on Steam: Three Small PC VR Launches

Steam Frame and PC VR owners get a run of VR-only indies before PAYDAY. Saddlebow (November 2) is a mounted-archery hunt built around seven-minute runs through three forests; its free demo was covered in our Saddlebow preview. STUFFED: Two Foot Hero (November 3) casts you as a two-foot-tall teddy bear defending a child from her nightmares, solo or in four-player co-op; the Quest store still lists it for Fall 2026. Lucky Shot VR (November 4) is a roguelike shooting-range game about building weapon combos for high scores. None had a Steam price published when we checked.

November 11–12: Sol Protocol, H3VR2, Fabula Rasa and Fading Light

Sol Protocol reaches Steam Early Access on November 11 after launching on Quest 3 and 3S in September. Singular Perception’s co-op space roguelike seats three players as pilot, gunner and engineer, with crossplay and every Quest update included, UploadVR reports. The Automa bots meant to fill empty seats are still in development, so it remains a game for a full crew. Details are in our Sol Protocol PC VR report.

The biggest Quest release of the month is Hot Dogs, Horseshoes & Hand Grenades 2 on November 12. RUST LTD.’s sequel, published with Creature, is built around extraction runs through a procedurally generated megastructure called the Facility. It costs $39.99, with pre-orders 10 percent off, and it is Quest 3 and 3S only. PC players should note the unusual order: the Steam version is not due until the second half of 2027, once its modding framework is ready. Our H3VR2 pre-order report has the background.

Two more Quest titles share November 12. Fabula Rasa, from Pixel Ripped studio Arvore, uses large language models to drive real-time conversations with nine townsfolk you must persuade to free you from a cage above a monster pit. It won the XR Experience Audience Award at SXSW this year, but a price has not been announced; see our Fabula Rasa preview. Joy Way’s Fading Light, a co-op zombie survival game for up to four players with parkour movement, launches free-to-play, as we reported in our Fading Light launch story.

Later in November: Age of Arca and Undated Quest Games

Void Override’s Age of Arca, a sci-fi horde shooter set on the desert planet ARIDUM-VII, is listed on the Meta Horizon Store for November 17 at 10 AM PST on Quest 3 and 3S. The store also lists Animal Rails, FlyFit and Medieval Mayhem for November without a specific day. We will add exact dates here as they are confirmed.

Hardware and Platform Dates to Watch

  • Hyper Dash goes offline-only (November 1). Triangle Factory switched off the game’s online servers today, leaving the offline build. Our Hyper Dash shutdown report explains what remains.
  • XREAL Aura shipping (mid-November). XREAL opened Aura orders on October 28 at launch prices of $1,099 and $1,299, with shipping expected to start in mid-November and Japanese orders opening November 2. See our XREAL Aura launch coverage.
  • Samsung’s AI glasses slip to December. The Korea Herald reported in October that Samsung planned a November launch, but Chosun Biz reported on October 30 that sales in Korea and the U.S. now start in mid-December. Samsung has not announced a date or price. Our Samsung Galaxy Glasses guide tracks the details, and the upcoming smart glasses tracker covers the rest of the field.
  • Black Friday (November 27). Expect headset and game discounts across retailers. We will publish verified deals only, with prices checked on the retailer page. If you are still choosing hardware, start with our best VR headsets of 2026.

What to Play First

If you have a regular group, PAYDAY: Aces High is the month’s safest bet, because it launches on Quest and Steam at once for $24.99 and has been through two public playtests. Quest 3 owners who want depth should pre-order H3VR2, since the PC version is more than half a year away. PS VR2 owners finally get a real multiplayer option with Forefront’s cross-play. Anyone on a budget can try Fading Light for free on November 12. If a game you want is PC-only, our Quest 3 sideloading guide and Steam Link options can help, and horror fans looking past Halloween can still pick from our best VR horror games of 2026.

How We Build This Calendar

Every date on this page comes from a store listing or a developer announcement, and we note the source next to each game. Games with only a season or “coming soon” are left off the dated list until a day is confirmed. Prices are U.S. prices as listed on November 1, 2026; “not yet listed” means the store had not published one. This page will be updated as November dates change, and the December 2026 edition will follow at the start of next month.
